Inventions
There are many creations that make life easier and more interesting for many people. While many of these creations were created centuries ago others are being created as I write. Some of these creations help people others entertain people. Despite their unique purposes, people have different inventions that are their favorite(s). The three inventions that I think are very interesting are the Iphone, the sword, and the glasses.
The Iphone is an amazing invention because you can do almost anything you can do on a computer. The Iphone was created by Apple. The first generation of the Iphone was made on January 9, 2007. The Iphone 4s came out on October 14, 2011 and has face time and you can talk to it and it will talk back. You also have Wi-Fi everywhere. The Iphone is a wonderful invention and it is one I would like to have.
The sword used to be a great invention and weapon, but now its use is diminished. The sword was probably developed from the dagger in the Bronze Age, but no one knows for sure. The sword was used more frequently during the Iron Age when swords were made of iron and major armies like the Greek and Roman armies mass produced them for their soldiers. Medieval knights had to types of swords one that was short and light and one sharp side and on that is long and broad with two sharp sides, but the people who created the best swords were the Persians and they were short and curved. The sword was a great invention up until the 1800when they stopped making them for mass production.
Glasses are a wonderful invention because they help many people see much better. Glasses were probably invented by Roger Bacon in the 13th century, but China created a more crude version of Bacon’s idea. Glasses were improved in the 18th century; also, the first lenses were made of clear crystal. The new form of glasses are contacts that are lenses placed on your eyes. I appreciate glasses very much because without them I would not be able to see.
