Thanksgiving Essay
There are many holidays in the year but there is one to be thankful for; Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful for everything and everyone. There are many things to be thankful for on thanksgiving such as a nice family. But there are many things to be thankful for so how do you choose? I say you choose by thinking what you care about most. Here are a few things that I am thankful for: my nice family, pets, and the military and military families.
One thing that I’m very thankful for is my family; I have six people in my family and they’re the best people in the world. I have two younger siblings- I’m very thankful for all of them. I have one that’s five and one that’s eight months and they’re both an aspect of my life that I love. I have an older sister that’s wonderful, exciting, and I love having her as an older sister, but I’m worried about her driving me to school. I love my parents so much and they are always there for me if it’s a test, or sports, I’m very thankful.
Pets are things that are wonderful, fun, and awesome and things to be thankful for. My dogs name is Lucky and I love him with all my heart, but he is getting very old and he has bad back problems. He can be bad and knock over the trashcans but I forgive him and we move on. We snuggle and love each other and he never bites so he is the best dog I now. Dogs are companions and friends who are wonderful and beats that I love.
The Military is something that will do anything to protect us. Military families are something I am a part of. The military is awesome and they put their life on the line to save and to protect us. Being in a military family is fun because you get to see and live in new places, but is also annoying because you have to move away from your friends. My dad is in the military, and he had to be deployed to Iraq and you get worried because they are my family, and they can be gone any second. The military has a big impact in my life, and my family.
